family-run oyster farm
In both honoring my parents' legacies and fulfilling a lifelong passion, my husband, brother-in-law, and I are hoping to create a mid-size oyster farm and brokerage out of their waterfront property. We love the bay, as did my father in particular, and we see no better way to give back than to help repopulate the oyster population. One single oyster can filter 50 gallons of water a day. Between the species' positive environmental impact and honoring my father, it's a no-brainer. Wish us luck.
